I’ve been writing and publishing blogs since around September of 2019. I began with writing articles for TacticalGear.com and WorkBoots.com. I’ve also published pieces for BW Packaging.
My most recent career work has seen me publish over 180 pieces of blog content for HY-C. Since late 2019, I’ve written and published over 220 articles.

I’ve been working to increase the organic search rankings of various websites since I began my career in 2019. I started by creating audience-specific shopping pages and writing blog posts for TacticalGear.com to capture search traffic on shopping-specific keywords.
Lately, I’ve been bolstering the rankings for HY-C.com. In June of 2022, HY-C.com saw around 1,100 search visitors throughout the month. On October 14th, 2024 — a bit over a year after I started at HY-C — we netted 1,362 site visitors in a single day.
The website now enjoys around 30,000 visitors each month.

My email marketing experience took place primarily at Cat5 Commerce from 2019 to 2022. I wrote, edited, and sent campaigns to an email contact list of about 1.5 million people for TacticalGear.com and WorkBoots.com.
Campaigns I worked on included new product launches and announcements, sales, and segment-specific promotions. I had the privilege of working with worldwide brands like Nike, Under Armour, CAT, Carhartt, Oakley, and dozens of others.

From 2019 to 2022, I ran the Facebook, Instagram, and X (Twitter) accounts for TacticalGear.com. Part of my responsibilities consisted of growing the following of each account. By 2022, TacticalGear had around 250,000 followers on Facebook, over 90,000 on Instagram, and over 22,000 on X.
My other responsibilities included promoting products and sales, sharing engaging content, and responding to customer inquiries.

Creating landing pages has been a constant throughout my career. For TacticalGear.com, I created shopping-specific pages for our customer segments (i.e., police gear, military surplus gear, Army gear, military boots, fire & EMS gear, etc.).
For BW Packaging, the website pages I created and managed were primarily for trade shows. Their goal was to create and nurture leads through the processes of assessing and purchasing industrial packaging machinery.
With HY-C, I developed, tweaked, and tested landing pages to serve two audiences:
Consumers who need support for our products
Potential sales and distribution partners interested in selling our products

I’ve helped to support website maintenance, SEO efforts, on-page optimizations, and core web vitals for TacticalGear.com, WorkBoots.com, BWPackaging.com, and HY-C.com.
This includes writing and creating new pages as needed, examining and improving a site’s internal linking structure, updating outdated information, copyediting pages, mega menu tweaks, and much more.
I have a comprehensive knowledge of HTML and CSS, and I’ve had experience with several content management systems (including HubSpot and WordPress).

My experience with events and tradeshows came from my time with BW Packaging and HY-C.
At BW Packaging, I assisted in producing booth copy and brochures for international shows like Pack Expo, InterPACK, PMMI, and more.
For HY-C, I crafted booth copy and pamphlets for shows like Wildlife Expo; Mid-Sates Winter/Fall Rendezvous; Hearth, Patio, & Barbecue Expo; and others.
